Getting Started: Where Do We Begin?

We're getting married! Where do we start?

  1. Book the Venue – Your wedding venue determines your date, making it easier to secure other vendors.

  3. Review Our Pricing – Check out our Wedding Collection pricing to ensure we fit within your budget.

  4. Secure Your Date – Contact us, sign the contract, and submit your deposit to officially reserve your wedding day.

I love it! What do I need to do to secure my wedding date?

We ask for a signed contract and a non-refundable $500 retainer.  Then first non-refundable payment of 50% based on desired package (10K or Less). If your collection is over 10K, we offer payment plans (3 and 4 payments based on your date of wedding)

Your $500 does go towards your total amount due. We require the next non-refundable payments in a payment plan listed in contract, with a zero balance 30 business days before your event. (If your event is less than 6 months away, we require a 50% deposit, less than 90 days full payment)

Can I customize a package and can I choose an all-inclusive package? 

Yes, of course. We customize packages all the time. Our couples are encouraged to contact us personally so we can tailor a wedding that fits their budget, wants and needs. We are a service-oriented venue with Event Planners who are able to assist in securing and booking your vendors with your vision in mind for your special day.

What do Most of your Wedding Collections include?

You can find our detailed wedding collections on our online website page invest.  Most Collections include your tables, chairs, set-up, tear down of those items, preferred vendors list, use of bridal suite, use of grooms quarters, use of climate controlled grand reception hall,  outdoor ceremony and more.

Are we required to have a Planner/Coordinator/and or Decorator?

Yes, to ensure your day runs smoothly we do require, at a minimum, a Day of Coordinator. We have coordinator and planners on staff you may hire! We also have a team of preferred Wedding Planners that you may choose to connect you with! We have carefully chosen these planners based on their passion and dedication to deliver exceptional service to all of our couples! We are happy to work with other professional wedding planners and coordinators in the industry with approval. Contact us for more information.

Can I have a Rehearsal Dinner before our wedding?

If you would like to have a rehearsal or rehearsal dinner the night before your event with availability or in need of a Rehearsal dinner with set-up it is an additional $1500 for set- up & tear down. Contact us for availability.

What’s the Lodge like in the extreme hot/cold?

Our lodge is climate controlled. For hot weather with our air conditioning, we also have eight large chandelier & ceiling-mounted fans to help circulate air in the Grand Reception area.

What if it rains on my wedding?

We have an option B ready for you. In Case of Inclement weather, if you choose you may opt for a tent when your venue is near Meadowvale, that will protect you from the outdoor elements. If you have the Grand Reception Room we would simply move your ceremony indoors to our  in front of one of our beautiful fireplaces. (Knock on wood - We truly believe God has blessed this land and we have only had to do this alternative 1x)

What’s the average budget for couples who book with Leeric Lodge & Resort?

Our couples typically invest between $15,000–$36,000 to create their dream wedding. We offer customized packages to fit a variety of budgets. Budget-conscious couples with fewer vendors, smaller guest counts, etc. might spend as little as $10,000. We can customize a package that meets your budget and needs.

Do you require event insurance?

We do require our couples to purchase event insurance from our preferred vendor. Event insurance protects you from liability during your event that is a result of bodily injury, personal injury or property damage. With a minimum of $1M in coverage, host liquor liability and cancellation policy, coverage typically cost between $120-250 depending on the number of guests and coverage needed.

Do you offer Overnight Lodging?

Yes, we have onsite lodging available at the venue. Most of our couples tend to want our Stress-Free Weekender Collection which includes our which is offers the most savings. We do offer 2 night accommodations at the "Tennessee Glamping Resort" suites. For liability & safety, no children under the age of 8 may be in the bridal suites on the day of weddings without direct supervision. Only those 18+ are allowed to stay overnight in lodging facilities, no children or allowed to be near the Pool or on pool deck or in a hot tub/spa.

Can we set up early or clean up late?

We host multiple weddings every week and make a concerted effort to ensure each couple’s wedding day runs as smoothly as possible. To this end, we open and close the venue for reservations promptly to allow our team enough time to clean and reset the venue in between weddings.

Do you allow couples to bring alcohol?

Yes, we do allow our couples to provide their own alcohol. We just require you to work with our ABC licensed and insured bar service for creating your custom bar menu. Our beverage service and packages is required for all services. Beverage Services will be invoiced through Leeric Lodge & Resort Only.

What is state taxes in Tennessee? 

State taxes are not included in all the Collection prices listed.  9.75% state tax and 5% Occupancy tax for overnight accommodations (this is not on the entire collection/only the lodging which runs around $300 - $500 based on number of nights) when applicable. If you wish to rent or purchase additional items that are not listed in your package this would be an additional charge.

Do children count in guest numbers for wedding and lodging?

Guest numbers include all the bridal party, the couple and children of all ages in attendance. We do not allow children under the age of 18 to access to our resort pool, hot tubs or for overnight accommodations. For liability, no children under the age of 8 in our lodging facilities without direct supervision. This policy ensures the safety of all guests and the protection of our property.

How many guests can the Lodge Venue hold?

Most Ceremonies take place at the Lodge (even those with 150+) which offers a stunning backdrop for exchanging vows, surrounded by the natural beauty of Center Hill Lake and the majestic Upper Cumberland mountain range.   Rarely do our guest counts at the Grand Reception Room go over 100.  The Grand Reception Room hosts up to 110 guests indoors, while larger celebrations (110+) can enjoy an open-air reception at "Meadowvale".

Can we add an extra day to our reservation?

Yes.  If our calendar allows it, you may extend your reservation by as many days as you’d like.

Do I need to schedule a tour or can I just stop by?

All of our tours are by appointment only. To schedule a tour, visit the inquiry page on our website or call/text us at (615) 684-9643.

Do you allow outside vendors?

Yes we do. We can provide you with our preferred vendor recommendations we know and trust, but couples are welcome to bring whoever they’d like with prior approval, from the event manager (subject to fee for not using certain preferred vendors). We do require our couples to use ONLY licensed and insured businesses for most vendors. Contact us for more information. 

 

Do we have to utilize your preferred caterers?

We have partnered with several amazing caterers in our area to offer you a diverse range of options in several price ranges. We have carefully chosen these caterers based on their passion and dedication to deliver exceptional service to all of our couples! We are happy to work with other professional caterers in the industry with manager approval. Contact us for more information.

Can you accommodate guests with mobility issues?

Yes! As a courtesy, we offer a golf cart from the parking area for those needing mobility assistance with walking and for those who can not navigate rolling terrain and stairs to the grand reception. We ask for advance notice (30 days) if these services are required to ensure we can accommodate everyone. While our venue is nestled in the beautiful, rolling hills of the Tennessee mountains, we do want to note that the terrain can be challenging at times, particularly for those using wheelchairs. However, we do offer access via a golf cart path to assist with mobility, though please be aware that in inclement weather, the path can be difficult to navigate due to the steep terrain.  We want to ensure that your guests are comfortable and can experience the venue's beauty, so we’re happy to discuss specific needs and work with you to find the best options.

What does clean up entail?

We ask that the bridal suites be left as you found them. At the end of your event, please remove any personal belongings, décor, and rental items you’ve brought in, and clear tables of trash. Our team handles the teardown of tables, chairs, and any equipment or items provided by Leeric Lodge on Center Hill Lake. We also take care of the final cleaning, including sweeping and mopping. If you’d like us to manage décor removal, table clearing, and bridal suite clean-up, we offer this as an additional service for a fee.

Are candles allowed?

Yes, but the flame and candle need to be contained in a glass container/candle holder.

​

What other fees or payments are required?

Couples choosing an all-inclusive collection will incur an additional 20% gratuity. All payment methods include a 6% administrative and processing fee—this covers resort services, administrative costs, and payment processing, allowing us to offer flexible payment options.

​

Do you allow smoking?

We allow smoking, vapes and cigars in designated areas only. 

​

How long will I have access to the venue?

Access varies with the tiered collections you have chosen All Access period ends by 11:00pm for all collection.

​

Do you allow dogs onsite as part of the ceremony?

We are dog friendly, with some rules. Pre-approval will need to be made with our venue manager at least 30 business days prior to your event. Dogs (any animal) are NOT allowed inside the lodge, and must be leashed with a professional dog handler at all times, proof of updated vaccinations records. (we have a list of preferred vendors for this service).

Do you offer ceremony-only packages?

Yes! We have elopement packages. These can be booked based on availability. Contact us for more information.

Do you offer transportation services for guests?

We do have transportation services within our preferred vendors list. While you are not required to use these services, we highly recommend a shuttle service for the ease and safety of your guests.

You’ll receive a FREE Planning Packet to keep you on track, plus we offer open communication via email or text anytime. We also host open houses, two annual bridal shows to connect you with top-tier vendors, and regular check-ins—including a mid-point meeting and a detailed 30-day review—to ensure everything is on track.

While we aren’t your wedding coordinators, we are your trusted resource, offering support, guidance, and a judgment-free space to help you navigate the planning process. Whether it's managing family input, tackling unexpected questions, or offering a listening ear, our goal is to make your journey to "I do" as smooth, joyful. and stress-free!

Secure Your Wedding Date

Once you’ve made the decision to move forward, securing your wedding date is as simple as:

​

  • Submitting a $500 non-refundable deposit (applicable to any collection).

  • Signing your contract, which includes a clear breakdown of agreed payment schedule with installment, with all payments due 30 days prior to your wedding.

​

After securing your date, we’ll send you a comprehensive Welcome Packet filled with resources, information, and planning tools to get you started.

Ongoing Support and Planning

We don’t just take your deposit and disappear—we’re here to guide you every step of the way. Unlike other venues, we stay in contact with our couples throughout the engagement. Communication is key, and we ensure everything is handled directly with you to avoid miscommunication.

Here’s what you can expect during the planning process:

​

  • Initial Planning Call: Scheduled within two weeks of booking to answer questions and begin planning your event.

  • Mid-Point Check-In: A virtual meeting halfway through your planning timeline to discuss progress, address concerns, and keep everything on track.

  • 45-30 Day Check-In: A meeting with you and your planner /day of /month-of coordinator to finalize the timeline, confirm vendor details, and ensure everything is aligned.

  • Final Call (14-7 Days Out): A quick check-in to address last-minute questions and confirm the final details.

During the last month, we ramp up communication to ensure you’re fully supported. From vendor confirmations to timeline creation, we handle the details so you can continue to focus on enjoying this exciting time.
